Shopify app charges use Shopify Billing API

Dropship Supply uses Shopify Billing API for all paid recurring app subscription charges. Merchants choose one of the available app plans inside the embedded Shopify app. Paid plan selections open a Shopify-hosted approval flow created with appSubscriptionCreate, while the Free plan is activated without a charge. There is no free trial on paid plans; merchants can use the Free plan before choosing a paid subscription.

App subscription

Charged by Shopify

  • Free: $0, no recurring app charge, up to 100 connected products. Internal plan handle: basic.
  • Basic, Premium, and Full app plans are charged through Shopify Billing API.
  • Basic: $19.90 USD every 30 days, up to 2,000 connected products.
  • Premium: $49.90 USD every 30 days, up to 10,000 connected products.
  • Full: $79.90 USD every 30 days, unlimited connected products.
  • The app verifies an active Shopify subscription before enabling paid-plan product imports.
  • Paid plan upgrades, downgrades, and cancellation are handled inside the app through Shopify Billing API.
  • No PayPal checkout is used for app access, app subscriptions, app feature fees, or recurring app charges.
Fulfillment payment

Paid only after a customer order

PayPal is used only after a merchant receives a customer order and requests fulfillment. This payment is not an app charge. It covers the physical fulfillment transaction: product cost, delivery, payment processing, and fulfillment handling for the specific order.

  • The merchant initiates the PayPal checkout from an individual fulfillment request.
  • The order is sent to the fulfillment partner only after payment authorization and stock confirmation.
  • If the fulfillment partner cannot accept the order, the PayPal authorization is voided and the fulfillment request is cancelled.

Why this is separate from app billing

Dropship Supply acts as a dropship supply and fulfillment partner. The PayPal payment is tied to cost of goods sold and delivery for a merchant's customer order, similar to paying for physical inventory, fulfillment, or shipping services. The Shopify app subscription itself remains billed only by Shopify Billing API. Cost of goods sold, delivery, PayPal processing, and fulfillment handling are additional charges and are shown before the merchant authorizes payment for each fulfillment order.

Geographic requirement

Delivery is available only to EU countries

Merchants can install the app from any supported Shopify market, but fulfillment is available only for customer delivery addresses in European Union countries supported by the Dropship Supply delivery table. Orders with unsupported delivery countries cannot be submitted for fulfillment.

Supported delivery countries are listed in the app's Delivery tab and include EU destinations such as Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ireland, and Luxembourg.

Additional fulfillment costs

Order costs are shown before payment

Each fulfillment request shows the product cost, delivery charge, PayPal processing fee, and fulfillment handling fee before the merchant authorizes PayPal. These costs are separate from Shopify app subscription charges and apply only when the merchant submits a customer order for physical fulfillment.
